Welcome to Our AI-Driven Electronic Health Records (EHR) Prototype
This prototype presents an advanced, intelligent Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform that integrates multi-agent large language models (LLMs), computer vision, and data analytics to support next-generation digital healthcare. Designed for community-based and charity medical institutions, the system provides secure, automated, and context-aware patient data management, from record acquisition and analysis to decision support and reporting.
The platform is built on a distributed microservices architecture orchestrated in a Kubernetes environment. Each service performs a dedicated function while communicating through asynchronous REST and WebSocket channels, enabling smooth agent-to-agent collaboration across text, image, and audio processing workflows.
Image and signal processing modules handle diverse clinical inputs such as scanned documents, facial imagery, and vital-sign video streams. Extracted information is interpreted by domain-specific LLM agents, each specialized in tasks such as identity recognition, medical entity extraction, symptom analysis, and health-risk summarization. These agents exchange information through a knowledge-sharing layer that supports contextual reasoning and cross-verification of medical facts.
A secure REST API manages data access with JWT-based role authentication, AES encryption, and full activity logging to maintain privacy and compliance. The architecture also includes offline caching and synchronized updates, ensuring reliable operation even in low-connectivity field environments common to remote healthcare missions.
Together, these components form a cohesive, AI-enabled ecosystem that bridges traditional health information systems with real-time intelligent assistance. This EHR prototype demonstrates how multi-agent collaboration, ethical AI, and automation can enhance healthcare delivery, streamline documentation, and extend the reach of quality care to underserved communities.
User Instructions
To ensure a smooth and secure experience while using the AI-Enabled Electronic Health Records (EHR) Prototype, please follow these guidelines:
Before You Begin
- Find a quiet and well-lit environment to ensure clear voice recognition and accurate interaction.
- Make sure your microphone and, if applicable, camera are functioning properly.
- Have your basic health information ready, such as height, weight, existing conditions, and medications.
Starting the Session
- Click “Start Session” on the prototype interface.
- When prompted, allow your browser to access the microphone (and camera if visual analysis is enabled).
- The AI health assistant will greet you and wait for your response. Begin by saying “Hello” to start the conversation.
During the Conversation
- The AI assistant will guide you step-by-step through the record creation process.
- You will be asked about your:
- Identity details (name, age, gender)
- Chronic health conditions
- Lifestyle habits (diet, exercise, smoking, etc.)
- Body measurements (height, weight, BMI estimation)
- Current medications or allergies
- After each question, speak naturally and clearly. The system automatically detects a pause of three seconds to record your response.
- All information is processed in real time by the AI agents and automatically entered into your electronic record.
Review and Confirmation
- Once all sections are completed, you will see a summary of your record on the screen.
- Review all fields carefully. You can manually edit or correct any details if needed.
- Pay special attention to your full name and email address, as they are required for final submission.
- When satisfied, check the confirmation box and click “Submit Record.”
After Submission
- A secure copy of your Electronic Health Record will be generated and sent to your registered email address.
- You may close the browser or start a new session if you wish to update or add new information.
- All data is encrypted and stored securely; only authorized healthcare personnel can access your record.
Important Notes
- If the system does not respond smoothly, refresh the page and restart the session.
- The AI assistant respects your privacy and uses your data exclusively for healthcare purposes.
- The process typically takes 8–10 minutes to complete.
